Join us for a three-part workshop series that explores the wisdom plants offer in relation to well-being, resilience, and self-awareness. We’ll also learn hands-on ways to connect with these plants by making teas and salves together.
Session 1, Wednesday, March 26: Plant Wisdom & Traditional Uses
We’ll explore various plants and their growth patterns, traditional uses, cultural stories, and the lessons they teach us. *The first three registrants will receive a copy of “Plants Have So Much to Give Us, All We Have to Do Is Ask” by Mary Siisip Geniusz.
Session 2, Thursday, April 3: Wild Harvesting & Practical Applications
Learn when, how, and why to harvest wild plants and herbs. We’ll also discuss traditional processing methods and ways to incorporate them into daily life. *The first ten registrants will receive a tea strainer and a bag of rosehip tea.
Session 3, Wednesday, April 9: Herbal Preparations
Discover how to create herbal-infused vinegars, honeys, oils, and salves. We’ll demonstrate making an herbal-infused salve with plantain leaf. *All attendees will receive a small jar of the salve.
Participants who attend all three sessions will receive a gift bag with herbs from the series, beeswax for salve-making, and small jars for essential oil blending.
